I have been an educator for 24 years, and currently serve as the Professional Development Coach for the Sumter School District Office.  My current role is to organize Professional Development and to assist teachers with the integration of educational technology in their classrooms. Through EdTech programs such as Nearpod, Google Apps for Education, and many others, I work to ensure schools succeed in engaging students through implementation of technology. 

As a Nearpod Pioneer and Certified Trainer, Seesaw Ambassador & Google Certified Teacher, I consistently seek opportunities to deepen my understanding of educational technology.  With a goal of engaging students in their own learning, utilizing technology as the tool to drive achievement and increased understanding, I worked to connect, share, and build educational technology networks to reinforce a greater understanding of the potential that EdTech offers.   

I am a certified teacher, and taught high school Spanish for 15 years. I was a curriculum coach at a Middle school for a year before moving to my current job.
