2019 SC Midlands Summit

This workshop is intended to bring the Balanced Literacy components together. It will provide you with context for planning your classroom literacy instruction so that each instructional moment propels your students forward as readers and writers. You will gain knowledge and confidence to flexibly and seamlessly use Reading A-Z and Raz-Kids resources throughout the Balanced Literacy block.
In this session participants will explore resources for each of the Balanced Literacy components: (Read Aloud, Shared Reading, Guided Reading, Independent Reading, Word Study, Writing). Participants will need to bring a device that will allow to access manipulate the site. If they are a Richland 2 K-5 educator, please know your username and password for Reading A-Z.
