Clay Crawford began his teaching career in Summerville, South Carolina in Dorchester School District 2 teaching 7th and 8th grade core and advanced writing for 6 years. He served as the school Quest Writing Coach, and aided district interventionists in creating software to assist in curriculum and assessment. He also worked on a district team that created district bi-quarterly benchmark assessments that all students took to evaluate student growth and compare data amongst schools. Currently at White Knoll Middle School, he teaches RTI ELA, ELA, and English 1 Honors. Currently serves as a DLP Advocate, is Google Certified Educator (Level 2), SeeSaw Ambassador, Flipgrid Certified Educator (Level 1), and Brainpop Certified Educator. Presentations include faculty professional developments.
